Jill is certified by the International Dog Groomers' Association and has been grooming all breeds of dogs and cats for 30 years.   She worked as Groomer for her father, Dr. G. C. Firman, DVM, at the Indianapolis Animal Medical Center for ten years.   She continued grooming on the west coast of Canada, raised 3 children and attended Nursing School.
 
Animals have always been an important part of Jill's life, beginning with rescued dogs and cats as a child.  She returned to the Shelbyville area after marrying a dairy farmer who also loves animals.  They currently have a small hobby farm which is home to dogs, cats, chickens, goats, horses, cows, pigs and other assorted animal friends.
 
Jill retains her LPN license but decided she wanted to return to grooming because she enjoys animals so much.  Pine Ridge Pet Resort is pleased to welcome Jill and her Grooming Shoppe into their facility.
