Mission Statement
Pine Ridge Pet Resort, LLC will provide pet owners with a caring, clean and safe environment for their pets. Our goal is to give the pet owner peace of mind, knowing that their pet is in the best of hands and receiving the best care possible while staying with us. Meeting the individual needs of each pet is our highest priority.
Lynn Berryman, the owner of Pine Ridge Pet Resort, started her first boarding kennel in 1994. In 1999 a life change necessitated a move and Pine Ridge was opened in 2001 after two years of planning. Having dogs and horses from the time she was five years old and having worked in the corporate world for twenty five years, Lynn is well qualified in both the husbandry and business aspects of owning and operating a boarding kennel.
Lynn has been breeding and showing Weimaraners since 1992; she is a member of the Weimaraner Club of America and active in breed rescue. Continuing education is of utmost importance to Lynn, who is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business.
Lauren, Assistant Kennel Manager, came to us in the summer of 2006 and we are delighted she did! She lives in Shelby County and will continue working with us while attending college. The pets adore her; she always has a sweet voice and pat for every one. Her hobbies are horseback riding and caring for her neighbor's animals. We are very fortunate indeed to have this personable and hardworking young woman on staff.
Rachel has been with us at Pine Ridge since early Fall 2008. The pets we care for love her and so do we! She is a very responsible and thorough high schooler who brings with her a love of the animals she handles. She enjoys horseback riding and singing in the school choir; she lives with her family in Shelbyville. We are thrilled to have her with us and hope she continues to be a member of our staff for years to come.
